Q.1 How can I access the internet with my Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 Account?

Ans: A Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 account enables its user to access the internet through various means:

Broadband Access: When connected to a Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 Connection, click on the Internet Browser. A web login page will open on your browser. Just enter your Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 User Name and Password and you will be connected to the internet through Broadband 2.0 access. Your account will be debited basis the Tata Indicom Broadband Plan you are active on.

WiFi Access: You can access the internet using your User Name from over 500 Tata Indicom Wi-Fi Hotspots. You will need to select the Tata Indicom Wi-Fi Network from the list of networks available. Then click on the Internet Browser. A web login page will open on your browser. Just enter your Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 User Name and Password and you will be connected to the internet through Broadband access. Dial Up Access: Enjoy the convenience of a Dial Up connection with your Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0 account. Access the internet from over 300 cities and towns across the country. This is a great backup in case your broadband connection is down .You will need to have the Tata Indicom Broadband Dialer installed on your PC/ Laptop. To download the dialer,

. Plug in the phone line into your USB drive, type your Username & Password on the dialer and dial the Dial-in number applicable in that city. To view a list of Dial In numbers, click here. Your account will be debited at the rate of 10 paise per minute of internet access. If you have subscribed to any special dial up Plan like Night Unlimited & 24 x 7, the same will be applicable.

 

Q2. Do I own the Subscriber Station that is provided to me at the time of installation of Broadband connection?

Ans: The Subscriber Station is provided to you on an "Operative lease" basis and is the property of Tata Communications. It has to be returned back to Tata Communications in case you wish to terminate the connection.
